Kid Resources

This page is new. I’ll spruce it up later.

For now, here’s what we know about that’s happening in Charlottesville soon -

TOPS SOCCER: Free recreational sports program for children and young adults with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities.

TOPSoccer provides people with diverse abilities an opportunity to play soccer in a structured environment that is safe, fun, supportive, and inclusive. During sessions, participants are assigned a trained, volunteer buddy who works with the player individually throughout the season. TOPSoccer coaches oversee the program and lead activities that include small-group play and scrimmages.

Parents can find more information and register players here. Sessions begin on Saturday, April 6 at 10am at Alliance Sports Club, Field 4 (1313 Polo Grounds Road. Charlottesville, VA 22911).

Please feel free to reach out to TOPSoccer@charlottesvillealliancesc.org with any questions.

Do you know of other opportunities for kids with and without disabilities that we should list on this page?

Email me at katie@kindnesscafecville.com. I’ll add it if it meets our requirements.
